Shake it Out
Your body was built for this. For movement, for rhythm, for joy. This practice is about shaking off stiffness—literally. No rules, no routines, no looking cool required. Just music, your body, and the kind of dancing that makes you laugh at yourself. Shake what your mama gave ya.
A Practice of Pure, Unfiltered Groove
Find a spot where you can get weird—your bedroom, the kitchen, the shower, the middle of your living room. Anywhere you can move without knocking over a lamp.
Hit play on something that makes you want to move. The cheesier, the better. Wiggle your shoulders. Shake your hips. Flop around like an inflatable tube man outside a car dealership. If it feels silly, you’re doing it right.
Bounce. Twirl. Shake your butt like it’s your only job. Let your arms go wild. Dance like a toddler on a sugar rush.
If you feel ridiculous, keep going. If you start laughing, even better. Let your body move until you’re breathless, loose, and grinning like a fool.
Then stop. Feel the tingle, the buzz, the leftover rhythm still moving through you. Carry that feeling with you. And the next time life gets too serious? You know what to do.
