Burn Incense
The scent of incense drifts through time, carrying stories, prayers, and quiet moments of reflection. It lingers in the air like a whisper, softening the space around you. This practice is an invitation to step into that stillness, to let scent guide you into presence.
A Practice of Purification
Find a quiet place. Light a stick of incense, a cone, or a piece of resin. Let the flame catch for a moment, then gently blow it out. Watch the smoke rise, curling and shifting as it fills the room.
Breathe it in. Let the scent settle into your body, your breath, your thoughts. Feel the way it changes the air, how it seems to slow time itself. Let it clear the space around you. Let it clear something inside you, too.
Sit in the stillness. Let your breath soften. If your mind drifts, return to the rising smoke—moving, dissolving, disappearing. Imagine anything heavy inside you lifting with it, carried away like mist.
Stay as long as it feels right.
