Root to Rise
Beneath you, the Earth is always steady. It holds you, carries you, and asks for nothing in return. This practice is about sinking into that support—about feeling rooted, strong, and present in your body, no matter what moves around you.
A Practice of Grounding and Stability
Find a quiet place outdoors. Somewhere you can feel the ground beneath you—grass, soil, sand, stone. Take a seat. Let your body settle. Feel the weight of yourself pressing into the earth.
Close your eyes. Breathe deep. With each inhale, imagine drawing energy up from the ground, filling your body with steadiness. With each exhale, send anything heavy—tension, worry, restlessness—back into the earth. Let it absorb what you no longer need.
Picture roots extending from your spine, from the soles of your feet. Let them sink deep, twisting into the soil, anchoring you. Feel the Earth’s quiet strength rising through you, filling your body with warmth, stillness, ease.
Listen to the world around you. The rustling of leaves, the pulse of wind, the hum of life. Let the sounds remind you—you belong here. You are held.
When you’re ready, open your eyes. Feel the ground beneath you. Feel yourself steady, unshaken, connected. Carry this feeling with you as you move through your day.
